A teenage girl grows up to be a punk rocker, trying unconsciously to connect with her mother who ran off to be a groupie when she was still a baby. Pretty good writing, lots of good insight about music, and of course lots of icky, girly emotion stuff (it is chick lit, after all). But I'm a guy, and I liked it.
