Why Steve Martin Is So Rad

1. He’s won more Grammys than most rock stars.
2. “Planes, Trains and Automobiles“
3. He has great taste in modern art.
4. “Shopgirl,” which the New York Times describes as “Martin’s elegant, bleak, desolatingly sad first novella.”
5. Because “The Jerk” is still so great.
6. The Great Flydini:

7. He holds his own with Bela Fleck on the motherfucking banjo:
8. He is connected equidistantly to Marlon Brando and Ron Jeremy on the Six Degrees-o-meter (proof: Brando | Jeremy).
9. Born in Arizona, moved to Babylonia, King Tut:

totally agree. Steve Martin is very rad indeed. His comedy is very rare these days and not to many people appreciate the genius in it.
