Least. Metal. Moment. Ever.
First David Hasselhoff sheds a tear during the “American Idol” finale and now this? During a mediocre performance of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” by Storm Large on tonight’s “Rock Star: Supernova,” former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted did his best Tammy Faye impression and shed a man-tear, which he wiped away with a fingerless man-glove while air man-drumming. We’re sure there’s a logical explanation (Steve Irwin?), but seriously dude, crying at bad Rockaoke? If James Hetfield hadn’t already kicked your afro’d ass out of Metallica, this would have sealed the deal for sure. There’s nothing less metal than crying. Wait, we take that back, there is: crying on national television. What’s next, Kerry King replacing Elizabeth Hasselbeck on “The View”?

Watching people with zero talent ruin a Pink Floyd song makes me want to cry.
