YuppiePunk | Aperture Music Podcast #3

For the third edition of our podcast, the fine folks at Aperture Music have decided to do something a little different: challenge you. Think of it as the musical equivalent of “The Da Vinci Code,” only without the bad Tom Hanks haircut and without all the page turning and stuff.

One word from each of this edition’s eight songs, makes up the title of one of our favorite King Crimson tunes. Actually, the King Crimson song has nine words, but we’ll give the “the” for free. To reveal the answer, download the song at the bottom of the post. You can also download each of the songs ala carte until they expire, or even better, subscribe to our podcast by clicking the orange button at the bottom of the post. Enjoy!

The High Strung – “The World’s Smallest Violin”
Adem – “Ringing in My Ear”
Jawbreaker – “Oyster”
Shudder to Think (featuring Robin Zander) – “Automatic Soup”
Come On – “A Kitchen in the Clouds”
Earthquake – “Hit the Floor”
Weezer – “Surf Wax America”
Mark Isham – “A Museum of a Casino”

Answer: King Crimson – “_________”
