Kat’s Tats
Kat Von D is a kickass tattooist. She’s also one of the featured artists on TLC’s reality series “Miami Ink.” And if being a woman wasn’t hard enough in such a male dominated industry, she’s only 23 years-old to boot. Kat’s specialty is black and grey work, and in particular, portraits. But she’s also top-notch at tattooing traditional faire like pin-up girls and pirate ships. She’s given Bam Margera some of his tattoos, and she’s sure to be booked solid after her appearance on reality TV. But hopefully folks won’t want one of her tattoos just because they saw her on TV, but rather because they appreciate the artistry of her craft. She also gets big ups for rocking stars on her face and eyelid and somehow making them look sexy. Miami Ink is a hackney show which trivializes a true art. There quality of work is eh, and the show is a bunch of bs drama. I have met many truer as well as better artists many times

Dude. I used to like Kat. She seemed cool but I found out that shes just a snob. She’s not that great and the hype built up over her is because of the tv thing.
